Question 1

What is a SmartAssistant?

Accepted Answer

SmartAssistant is an AI-powered tool that runs your business 24/7. It handles customer conversations, takes orders, manages bookings, sends push notifications, and generates financial reports — all from one platform. Think of it as a virtual employee that never sleeps.

Question 2

How much is a SmartAssistant?

Accepted Answer

SmartAssistant is $25/month with no commissions, no hidden fees, and no contracts. Unlike DoorDash or OpenTable, you keep 100% of your revenue. Every dollar your customers spend goes directly to you. Shop our Tool Shed for add ons that fit your business. We don't believe one shoe fits all feet, so we let you choose what works best for your business. Online ordering, bookings, financial reports, and push notifications or text message updates - your digital SmartAssistant can do it all while you do what matters. Oh, and we're always innovating and building more!

Question 3

What types of businesses can use SmartAssistant?

Accepted Answer

SmartAssistant works for food trucks, restaurants, salons, barbershops, dentists, construction companies, and any local business that wants to take orders, manage bookings, or chat with customers online. The platform adapts to how your specific business operates.

Question 4

Do my customers need to download an app?

Accepted Answer

Nope! Your customers just visit your SmartPage link from any phone or computer. They can even save it to their home screen so it looks and feels like a real app — no app store required. However, a SmartAssistant is a PWA which means YOUR business can have it's own app on your customers phone. Yep, no longer reserved for the big companies. We've made staying top of mind possible right on your customers home screen where they spend the majority of their day. If they download your app it grants you access to sending push notifications so they never miss anything you want to share!

Question 5

How does ordering work?

Accepted Answer

Customers browse your menu or services, place an order, and pay directly through your SmartAssistant. You get notified instantly and keep every penny — zero commission fees from us. Your customers are yours we'll never take 30% like DoorDash. We have integrated with Stripe one of the leading payment processors (trusted by AMAZON). Sign up (super quick), link your bank account, and start receiving deposits to the same account your current POS is tied to. You don't have to replace your current POS, we work along side it, and we probably have plans to add them to our list of processors in the near future to make it as seamless as possible for you. Many of our clients like having this separate from their in house POS as it allows them to see deposits from online orders only keeping their books tidy and clean - although we have an app for that 😉

Question 6

Can SmartAssistant handle bookings and appointments?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Whether you're a salon booking appointments or a food truck listing upcoming events, SmartAssistant handles scheduling so you don't have to go back and forth with customers. Just add your availability to your in app calendar and when a customer asks your SmartAssistant will know your schedule and can even accept or decline appointments based on rules you set. Pretty convenient to never miss an opportunity again like those DM's that never get responded to - right?
